Was that the game that we won but lost the points on protest for whatever reason?
I remember reading about that happening against Geelong at some stage in our history?

P.S just on the Watson thing, it has happened since that the Brownlow Medalist didn't win the club B and F. one such occasion was Akermanis. The year he won his brownlow I think he finished 4th in the club award.

Dipierdomenico came 10th in the Hawthorn best and fairest in the year he won.

Darrell Baldock won the best and fairest in 1965 when Ian Stewart won the brownlow.

We put an end to their (then current) record winning streak of 12.
Since then they have bettered it (now stands at 23 during 1952 /53).

OK - a more recent match.

Saints v girlong (R16 1993)
We won (naturally) - 177 to 106

Plugger must have kicked 10 you say......no Plugger was out (injured I think). We had 13 goalkickers that day.

The Q - what was remarkable about our score line?

Yes St Fid - nobody kicked more than 1 point except Gordon Fode:

20 kicks, 14 marks, 5 goals 9 behinds.
I don't remember the game - Fode must have played full forward (maybe with O'Brien?)

Your turn St Fid.

Gordon Fode had a few games where he kicked a bag for us.
I remember against Essendon at Waverley was once such occasion.
Sounds like he should have kicked 12 that day against Geelong.

Gee, it's getting tough to find a question...

Here's one....

Stewie Loewe was 30 when he reached his 250th milestone...

1. Who did the Saints play against?

2. At what Ground?

3. What was the score?

In 1990 we picked up Jamie Shanahan at pick 92 in the National Draft. Who did we swap to which club for pick 92?
