Nick also becomes only the 23rd player to play 200 games for the Mighty StKilda Football Club.

Fair effort indeed.

Let's hope he has a winning 200th :)

Time has flown...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

this will be Dal's 4th milestone game, yet only the 2nd time he will run through a milestone banner for him.
his 50th was blown away vs the swans at the G, and for his 100th we had the banner the wrong way around, so he would of read "Don't wait in line to pay bills, sign up to Bill Express now!" :)

Remember going to his first game in 2002, when he had a shot for goal after the siren against sydney or the bulldogs (can't remember), he was around 55-60 m out and needed a score to win. Didnt get distance.
I agree time has flown by

I remember seeing Bark's 200th game when I was a lad and thinking to myself that it was such a significant amount of games for any VFL (as it was then) player to have played. Not all that many had played that amount for St.Kilda back then, but since, Barks has now found himself in pretty good company.

Congratulations to Nick of the Saint :)

The game is at the MCG, where the forecast is for, " Isolated light showers over southeastern suburbs clearing during the afternoon. Winds westerly averaging up to 30 km/h", so don't put the mozz on. I hope it is a good one and stays upright.

Would this just about be the quickest 200 games of all time? He didn't burst straight onto the scene, but it didn't take him long either an I don't remember him ever missing consecutive games. Should comfortably make it to 300

Made his debut in the Geelong massacre of 02, our worst loss since the 1980s. The only time he has missed consecutive games since then was 2003 when he missed over half the season.

Watched the Carlton replay during the week.
Dal did a lot of clever close-in things that you don't pick up at the game.
By the time he finishes he will be a Legend of this club.
