Sponsors and Debt
The article in The Australian said that we were losing Jen Weld and St George of their sponsorships.
What do we need to do to get new sponsors?
Why don't we have rich members willing to put money into the club to help?
Suggestions? Who do we target?

We have the following people as members of our board:
- The CEO of Coles Supermarkets
- The CEO of AV Jennings
- The CEO of MacarthurCook Ltd
- The Chairman of Gregory's Transport
- The managing partner at Fetter Gdanski
- One of the most senior partners at Rigby Cooke
IF between them they are unable to secure significant corporate investment in the club, then we may as well put a 'For Sale' sign out the front of Seaford.
I would argue that the current St Kilda board has the best business connections of any football club board in Melbourne.
Certainly we have better connections amongst business than some of the 'big' Melbourne clubs.
I am sure that we will bring in some excellent sponsors and stabilise revenue.

Legendary said and listed :
One of them is also a Board Member of Melbourne Victory - I would think that there is a bit of "conflict of interest" there, especially as M/V have had to raise much money for the recruitment of Harry KewellWe have the following people as members of our board:

Are Jeld Wen pulling out or simply pulling back?
I thought it was the latter...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

club has known about St george for some time
it's to be hoped that the comeback over the season
the continuing of the coach,
and a clean year- with disabused myths from last year will encourage possible sponsors..
anything big Bayside that can be suggested?
an affiliation with Yatching Victoria- may have an administator in common.
beach?
shipping? boating?

If a CEO and board can't put in place strategies to secure good sponsors and arrest falling membership, then maybe the board itself is a problem- regardless of personnel. I would be interested to hear more from the CEO and board regarding their future revenue-raising strategies, as at the moment they seem a bit pedestrian

The only reason Ford are allowed still to sponsor Girlong is that it's a sponsorship that predates Toyota.
Sydney - VW?
I think those "Protected Sponsor" rules have been relaxed.
Holden & Mitsubishi have the correct colour schemes for us !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

is Southland Westfield?
given they have just opened one of the biggest centres in Europe in London maybe they could stretch a little.
