Adam Kingsley is the only Assistant Coach remaining from the RL era. I believe Danny Ryan is the Development Coach or something similar...anyway assuming they both stay, we need 2 other line coaches, and a ruck coach you would expect.

The Age reporting that Laidley will be announced this week as a snior assistant with a Director of Elite Performance & an Academy Director to be added.

McPhee, Graham to be aligned with the Academy & Sandy.

Sounds like Kingsley stays on (which is great for some continuity)

Minor roles such as ruck coach to be added (I hope Gardy gets a run at this).

Love to see Maxy come back to the club as defensive coach. Bumped into him at a milk bar on Hampton St during the week of the build up to the Grand Final Replay last year and he said that he would've loved to have stayed at the Saints but nothing was offered.
Made a point of saying to me that he really hoped that St. Kilda barrackers didn't think he was disloyal, and when I said that I wouldn't be wishing him luck for the replay, he laughed and said - of course not, no way.
He asked me if I had tickets for it, I said yeah, but got the impression that he might have at least tried to help me to get tix if I hadn't been able to.
Great St. Kilda clubman, fantastic defender, excellent person.

Laidley, McPhee, Graham, and Watters all West Australians. Thats enough. We should now look elsewhere for the remaining coaching positions. Maybe Jamie Cripps is available again? Would not hurt to have some St.Kilda input.

I agree, like Harvs, we can't appoint Max because he was a past champ, and it is a fresh positve start which we need after thd Lyin years
