id much rather be us the the dees. we were competitve and port actually played some decent footy. they wont be on the bottom.

the dees - oh dear they are awful. and i have zero sympathy!
at least we had the most thorough coaching selection process possibly in afl history.

Demons people talk about their great young list...

It is anything but... They have very few good young players, especially for a team that has been down for so long... 90% of their list is just rubbish... They are in for a world of hurt for a few seasons still to come IMO....

And yes, Garry Lyon is a massive douche... His presentation on the ground on the weekend was a joke, and he is so poor at taking criticism he just gets all sulky and aggressive and digresses from the real issues...

I remember when the debate used to be about our great young list. I'd much rather be in the postion the Dees are in. At least there is only one way they can go and that is up. We on the other hand are not sure if we have bottomed out yet. The Dees will be in a postion to push for a flag before us.

Sorry Con, but this thread doesn't make me feel any better.

We had two (or was that three?) shots at winning a premiership and those opportunities have well and truly slipped away. Now we go into waiting for a new crop of players to develop and try to bring us back to those heights.

How long we have to wait to get another crack is anyone's guess.
