Been raining solid all day & night and more predicted for Sat ....
Went to a local game tonight and sheets of water covered the field just hope the Gabba has good run off...

Hopefully the Lions will play as badly as they did v Cats earlier this year, when the Gabba was a lake.

or maybe he just doesn't do whats expected from an afl player such as defensive chasing, taking first options instead of taking blokes on and then turning it over under pressure

It has been sunny for most of the day with periods of being overcast. The great drainage at the Gabba should mean that it will start as a dry track. There is nothing on the radar coming the way of the ground also

I agree with this as the Cats are a good wet waether team. I am not sure about he Saints in this circumstance. Bring the defence tonight fellows and think about how to minimise the Lions tall forwards. These guys are in and under type forwards too.


Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Disagree re the radar. Streaming in from the N/W it appears, but only showers, not storms.


i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
