Game venue and time have changed for the Sandringham v Geelong game this weekend

Please be aware the game venue and time have changed for the Sandringham v Geelong game this weekend.

The game will remain on Sunday 14 April but will now take place at Simonds Stadium at 1pm

The reason for the move is due to the condition of Trevor Barker Beach Oval which has been treated for disease in the grass and areas of the oval that have been re-laid are not ready for football to be played on it – Our next home game (against Northern Blues on 5th May) will still go ahead and our Round 15 game against Geelong that was scheduled for Simonds stadium will now be played at Sandringham.

Development team game vs Werribee will remain on Saturday 13 April at Werribee starting at 4pm.

That's a bummer given we play in Canberra this weekend.

Why couldn't they use Moorabbin oval instead, or even Seaford??

Why couldn't they use Moorabbin oval instead, or even Seaford??

Moorabbin would be a bit tough as they would have to change on the ground and you would have to walk up to the shell service station to go the toilet and get something to eat. Seaford is slightly better if seaford is playing but then you still need to get changed on the ground or share a room with the seaford boys. And use their canteen and toilet.
