Who we should chase at season's end?

Post: # 1332332Post coopergrech »

Hi All , Was just wondering who would be good to get from Free Agency? Should we push to get Lance Franklin?

Also who are some good players from VFL Level or SANFL etc? Any good tall backman or good midfielders?

Also who should be trade bait to make some deals work?

Thanks .

He may go to W.A (Probs not) , but we should make a good bid to get Buddy to free Nick Riewoldt and already have some good young forwards like Tom Lee , Beau Maister to take over the forward line.

Just had look at he gws list, gee they have some talent!

I know we already have a history of packaging up some players or a pick, I'm thinking for instance pick 5 for Taylor Adams, and Dom Tyson.
They are chock full of mids and an early draft pick which could grab them a key pos player might do he job!

Buddy has family in WA, if he leaves 2poos he will only go to eagles or dockers.
Need to chase big forwards from GWS or Suns but it will cost us plenty, they will ask high price.

The sad truth is after this years results that we will only have to chose from players return home, or in dispute with their clubs.

Need to sniff around GWS and Suns, but prising a very good player loose will be hard work.

Patton has done nothing so far...and now he has at least 1 bung knee...And it was a knee injury of some sort that ruined his first year..

Was it the same knee or did he just wreck his "good" knee..

Hope he's not another Lee Walker....

Cameron on the other hand...he is a ripper

I reckon there may be an exodus from GWS at season's end, watching the farce of a game their having today with Adelaide, fair dinkum, reckon Sandringham would attract a bigger crowd at Beach Road than there is at Skoda Stadium.
How much money is Dimwit going to sacrifice on this venture, a Tassie team would have attracted better players from within the AFL and would play in front of much bigger crowds.
There will be a lot of young players who will a) want to come home b) tired of losing all the time and c) play in front of something resembling a crowd.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Maybe after Essendon lose all their points after the ASADA investigation, we could pick up a couple of their guys

We now have a much better resourced Recruiting Dept. Let them look after recruiting players. Lets find a way to recruit 15,000 additional MEMBERS !!

Hi, would it be worth looking into Tatye Pears from Essendon seems he can't get a game while fletcher is there. I think he would be handy in defense.

Funny what a person will do to try and prove our club stuffed up. Puts Cripps in the going alright category even though said he was a dog. Also funny he writes this the week Hutchings and Lynch play and do ok. there are some who just want to knock the club. Dont see why they would even follow the club.

Easily pleased. Probably proves how boring you are. Knock the saints in just about every post. So superior yet lack so much knowledge.

Don't reckon Bm is on his own in bringing up the recruiting and player development mistakes of the last 10 years.
Just because you criticise certain aspects of the club's performance doesn't make you any less of a supporter!
