Good. I couldn't handle Miester playing.

Webster shouldn't be sub. He needs game time.

Agree with that, I thought Wright would be the sub, coming back from injury

Wright is a star and we need his grunt, so assuming his fitness base is close to 100% and the fact he's only 19, he should be able to play out a game.

But why not Sippos as sub?

Well no changes generally means the same 22 as selected on Friday 5pm, barring an injury during warm up.

Not many tall forwards this week so he'll be needed as a target. Also I'd expect this to be last chance saloon for him this time around - another quiet game gets him a spell at Sandy.

Without Maister, and Stanley required back against North's tall forwards I see Sippos playing permanent forward along with Roo and a resting ruckman. I reckon Watters has finally figured out Sippos is no Goddard half back flanker, he's a genuine lead up third tall who can play high when required but on the offensive side. In this role Sippos should be able to run out games better as well. Agree with Wright. He's a fit horse and should have no problems coming back to play a full game. It's not like he's been off the track with a lower body injury.

Ferg full back and Stanley up forward I would have thought

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

I really hope they don't throw Ferg straight to the wolves...He'll get eaten alive if expected to take a key post. I'd like to see him on a back flank playing on the third tall.
