Sorry but he missed the guy by a mile giving the ball back. Maybe didn't cost us the game but cost us a last shot. We had them on the ropes. I blame poor skills for the loss and several gettable goals.
After that I blame umpires, missed several frees to saints in the last and lions had to jus throw their arms up to be rewarded

Not overly favourable from the umps but they are not the reason the game was lost.

Opportunities not taken are.
See this is what gives them a free pass every week. Saints have shot at goal with 30 secs to go if the umpire did not jump in. The whole thing reeks.

Nah, you really didn't need to know the rules if you were a Lions player tonight. The umpires weren't going to enforce them on you.

Missed him by a mile which was poor but we missed at least 3 easy shots in the last 5 minutes and gave them the ball in our defence far too much...

You had your chance when he got a few kicks

From what I'm seeing he's been pretty ordinary

Mac was 18 leading hard at the ball in game #1 with touch #1 so no not the same critique

You were quick to lay the boots into Ben watch it objectively and analyse Tom
Reported for baiting and thread jacking. Hopefully you can join your mate on the sidelines

It was like watching soccer players, touch them and they acted like they were shot!!!

How the ump falls for an act like brown dropping when we monsters his opponent. Karma had him kick that one on the full

We were just too slow in transition when we had the ball. They played our game last week. Soon as we got the ball and started slowing the game down they flooded back and made about 3 walls. Impossible to find space.

Maverick and Matrix

At least have a look at who asked a question

I just answered it?

I have my opinion on him... It's strengthening and I'm entitled to it

Perhaps JB allows that rather than continually baiting about it.
Mac had no need to be bought into it?

How would we know where the question was?
Posts just pop up about things that have nothing to do with the topic completely out of context, just ridiculous

Whats going on with our 'fitness/training management'? 2 of the last 3 games the Saints have looked out on their feet, no energy or run and too flat! There is no coincidence that it resulted in 2 bad losses it needs to be addressed.

Templeton injury was an accident but he has looked tired for the last 3 games, start rotating these kids AR before they are all lost to injury...

SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!

Rolls Royce.
Billings has style but was not a Rolls Royce. A Rolls Royce would have dobbed 2 goals from easy opportunities.

He will learn and will become closer to Rolls Royce status as he matures as a player and learns to have the composure not to blow easy ones.

Unfortunately he wasn't alone with many simple opportunities missed when they were there for the taking. Quality teams take those opportunities. Now they need to win another game that there not expected to.
I'll standby the rolls call... Was like a tractor paddock tonight.

2nd real game in the wet, 16 touches & 4 shots on goal, needs to keep playing at AFL level. Shame he missed a couple of easy ones.

Half of the side are in their first few seasons at AFL level, they're always going to be up and down week to week. Fitness staff can't perform miracles. Except at Essendon.
