They did play Roberton on a stuffed ankle which he reinjured then in another game failed to take him off despite the field announcers immediately seeing he did know where he was after the game. I actually worry about them ATM.

Couldn't believe going forward how much we went to roo! It was so predictable. They just double teamed him and we were stuffed..

Same with Armo going back on after getting stiches in his knee. And Gilbo and Steven being rushed back. Jeez we're not playing for finals. It should be absolute conservatism. Richardson worries me a bit how hard he is pushing this team sometime. Players looked exhausted last week after coming back from NZ. Maybe knowing what a hot seat it is to be the ST Kilda coach he's desperate for wins. We are not in Port Adelaide's position yet. Lets just chill out a bit and err on the side of caution. The prize for that approach is probably higher draft picks. Win win!

It's interesting because it actually highlights a reason why Roo either needs to retire or play a different position... PLEASE DON'T GET ME WRONG, I ADVOCATE FOR NEITHER!!!!

As a player on our team, he is so far ahead of the next best that it actually in itself presents a problem. How can our kids that want to win games NOT kick it to him when he is so clearly the best option. This highlights an aspect of our developing team that's not growing together.

Now I love Roo, my fav Saint of all time. Don't want him to ever retire. Not making any suggestion that he should.
