So no Weller yet? Anyone else glaringly not extended yet?
Not sure whether Hickey was previously signed up or whether he is still to come.
billings is the last signing in the #futurefest campaign.
tomorrow see the start of the free agency window so the club will now focus on that and the trade period beginning on Monday
BBMD - On the email that was sent around to all the members, it states: "Jack Billings, 19 years old and committed to the saints until 2017, who will be revealed tomorrow?"

I'd say it's safe to say that he's not the last signing?
- Unless it was a generic message and the marketing team forgot to remove it...
Matt Finnis mentioned that this would be the last one when he was interviewed on SEN last night.

That's just a terrible comment.

We want AS to improve and become a regular first 22 player. Not for someone else.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

St Kilda FC‏@stkildafc·
Matt Finnis, @jack_billings and Alan Richardson are speaking to the media after Billings re-signed #SaintsFutureFest

St Kilda FC‏@stkildafc·
Richo: When we are in a position to challenge, these young guys will be our leaders. We are really pleased

St Kilda FC‏@stkildafc·
Richo: This is really exciting for our fans given the direction we've taken and the young guys who have committed

St Kilda FC‏@stkildafc·
Richo: Billings has incredible talent and we are confident that he will push into the midfield.

St Kilda FC‏@stkildafc·
Richo: It would have to be a pretty attractive deal to let the number one pick go - like something we can't refuse

St Kilda FC‏@stkildafc·
Richo: We are not really looking at free agency for a little while yet. Instead we will look at young talent

St Kilda FC‏@stkildafc·
Billings: I'm over the moon and hopefully we can see the rewards over the next couple of years. we are on a long journey rebuilding

St Kilda FC‏@stkildafc·
end of presser

We have to have more delistings/players traded out, to come. I would suggest another 4/6 to go yet.

We have 6 so far Pluggs, and 4 rookies to be upgraded leaves us 2 spots. The coach has said he wants to take 5 in the draft, and we might trade some in as well. Last year we traded in four players, Bruce, Longer, Savage and Delaney.

Where do people see Billings best position in the future? Im more than happy for him to be a 75% forward 25 midfield type to to be honest.

There you have it!
For me its Boyd, Cameron or Petracca.

Forget the other complicated deals.

I think you have one right and it isn't the first 2.

Maybe, but it confirms what many of us think. GWS cant give us their castoffs and expect us to just hand over #1.

Unless it is top notch, we wont be trading this. Considering we have offered Jaksch and JOR lots of money apparently and JOR is a uncontracted player we may get one for free in the PSD and possibly the other for a second round dp.

So if I hear Petracca's name called out, I will not be unhappy at all.

You are very strange. Nothing to do with right or wrong. Con we can only get one unless you know more than anyone else so im going with Petracca because I don't believe either of those other 2 will leave GWS this year. Get it? Actually I don't know why I asked because it seems you don't get much. I hope Petracca, Boyd or Cameron are country kids.

Despite the fun in watching E'dope unravel, this kid extending to '17 is THE best news of the day. They were always going to leave the best to last.

This kid will be a giant of the competition. 16 games in his 1st year, and bottom age. Spent a fair bit of his last year of TAC playing without training. The draft is now later, so clubs can't give them a full pre-season. Blew a muscle in Colorado and lost another 6 weeks into early January.

Looks like he's about 8, yet can get it, catch it and kick it. Goes to the right spots and sees spots to go to that only innate talent can identify.

A natural footballer with elite skills and feel.

I'm rapt, and even more so because the kid is already displaying leadership and real desire to make a go of it with us.

And, he grew up following the E'dopers.

The vibe is good.

Very excited about the player Billings will become. I was immediately sold when I saw him kick 5 against Frankston. One a set shot right on the boundary, and another on the run from outside the 50. Yes, he knows where the goals are, but we will get so much more value from him in the midfield!

Spose its good that we are not in the media for a change, but this has been quite an original and smart little undertaking
Agree with this! Imagine it was Collingwood...probably make front page of herald sun.

Well though out campaign congrats saints..I think Weller signed on early in the piece
