Clearly has talent - kicking five against us proves it - but I think even he admits the modern game is a battle. He's super quick but lacks endurance. A perfect sub, maybe, but that's about it.

It's horse-racing season...so:

Boom youngster who showed promise in early stages but never lived up to potential Gr 1 status. Convincing early wins at provincial tracks didn't stack up in the city. Struggles beyond 1200 metres. Prefer others.

99.9% of the time I am against picking up these rejects.

Never was in favor of any past pick ups, and for every Dempster and Ray there are countless more Polo's, Gambles, Smith's and TDL's..

I truly believe picking up a kid at all those picks I am certain would reap a similar amount of successes with the potential for so much more...

I was going to go on and say, however in the case of Blease...

Yeah, sorry about mtpl posts - Anytime I submit using my phone it does it 3 times...still I was clothes shopping with my wife...so I had to do something while I waited.

I trust who ever at our club looks over the rejects to pick a good one if we take on as a mature rookiee. He's not done much yet but then Rhys hasn't made it as a consistent player yet either. I thought he looked promising but like some one selling a used car you always wonder what is wrong with the rejects.

I think we'll be saved by Geelong, they're on a reject recruiting frenzy at the moment, unless Norf Melbourne trumps them.
