Jack Sinclair played with Jack Billings for Kew Comets junior football club.
In that team were also Luke MacDonald (North) and Jay Kennedy-Harris (Dees) and Hugh Beasley who the Lions have just rookied.
My son played with them too - won 5 flags in a row. All really nice kids too.
I remember Jack Sinclair's mum telling me a few years back that his grandfather used to play for the Saints.
Welcome aboard Jack.
Go Saints!

Sneids back at pick 54.

I wonder if there is "an understanding" within Clubs, that they will not select regular players that have been delisted from other Clubs, in situations such as Sneids ?

No there isn't… Geelong just took Cam Delaney who North were planning to re-rookie.

No-one else would have been interested in Schneider I would say.

With rookies you obviously take best available but some interesting selections.

Sinclair seems to be a small forward/midfielder. Saad is a small forward. Schneider is a small forward. (Add them to Lonie, Minch, Billings, Eli.)

Payne is a 193cm forward. Competing with Lee it would seem, and to a lesser extent Simpkin/White.

Do our recruiters only watch Oakliegh chargers games because its near where they live and the 'know' the players families or something?
They never look beyond there. This smells like crap to me.

Lazy lazy lazy.

Saad and Schenider. F*** me.

Were in trouble.

Billings, McKenzie and Sinclair are premiership players. Maybe they can play?

By my count we now have 2 senior list players and 1 rookie from oakleigh. Just Con's annual draft rant.

Based on that logic - SA won the U18 champs which is a higher level than TA Cup.
Yet we ignore that.

Still a lot less than we took from Geelong U18.

Hawks as usual go looking all over the country and rookie two kids from WA.
Lets be honest - no other club was going to take Saad or Schneider.
Just wasted picks. You can bet your life at least one of the kids rookied today will go on to be a star.

Maybe. Combine it with Saad and Schneider - and it smacks of laziness. So much for that research all year.

Anyone could have done what we did today. Anyone. Didnt need recruiters to do it.
Wot I said last week.

Payne a lovely forward with good skills and same height as Roo. Skinny kid, perfect rookie option imo.

Obviously Sinclair considered a good bet as a rook, I'm happy and wont profess to know more than the recruiters.

Just picture Saad had a year out with an injury - happy to redraft him a lot of people think he is a gop but forget all of the promise he showed

someone call him out on it
ask him where he got his info

youd think if he didnt want to come back to the saints he wouldve mentioned it to them and told them not to waste the pick and thank them once again for all the help they gave him.

Well noone else at 17 other clubs wanted a bar of Saad.
And no one else at 17 other clubs wanted a bar of Schneider. These guys are list cloggers. We need kids. We are already last so no point 'propping up' the ladder and these blokes arent good enough anyway. why rookie older players when u are bottom? makes no sense to me.

...oh I forgot apparently its because schneids is a 'good bloke'.

because of course we are even lazier than just Oakleigh Chargers.

How many Geelong Falcon players do we have.

I know we only look at Geelong Falcon's for spine players

Funny that, I remember how much people loved it when we drafted a few players from WA a couple of years ago.

Your ranting and whinging is absolutely baseless.
