Half I saw Sandy dominated and linking up was good for so early in season
Joe Baker-Thomas only saint I could pick out there

Still cant see why they have seconds in the VFL. Just wrecks local footy. Its time to stop this crap competition.
Provided that all Saints players fit and able to play for the Sandy ones that's ok with me.

Can you organise that plugs?

Obviously not but it does need to happen. Its plainly stupid and doesn't help the VFL or local comps.

Yes he played.

BEST: Holmes, Simpkin, Goddard, McKenzie, Saunders

"Despite the loss, Hudson was satisfied with the efforts of his young players, especially the likes of Hugh Goddard and Daniel McKenzie (who had seven tackles for the game).

“These boys are first year players and are going to take some time to develop. We’re pleased they ran out the game well and got involved,” he said. "

Is there anywhere we can actually get full stats rather than the odd tidbit of X tackles here and Y goals there?

Sandringham Captain Adam Cockie will contest a two-week ban for striking while Myke Cook has accepted a one match ban http://www.sandringhamfc.com.au/news.aspx?id=342
at one point during the game yesterday Cook and Cockie were both taking on the same player.

SANDRINGHAM has fallen agonisingly short of victory in their first competitive hit out for 2015, going down to the Northern Blues by three points at Ikon Park.

The Zebras were initially slow out of the blocks, but lifted in the second half to challenge the home side right to the end.

The Blues looked well in control in the opening half, dominating proceedings and taking a commanding 24-point lead into the main break.

The visitors found some spark immediately after half time, producing a stunning six goal to two third term, bringing them within a point of the stunned Blues.

The final term was the tightest of all, with both teams registering four goals in a hard-fought arm wrestle.

The Zebras had plenty of run in the legs but fell just short.
SANDRINGHAM: 13.6 (84)

NORTHERN BLUES: 13.9 (87)

BEST: Holmes, Simpkin, Goddard, McKenzie, Saunders

GOALS: Payne 2, White 2, Hayes 2, Kreymborg, Zijai, Dennis-Lane, Cook, Simpkin, Saunders, Holmes

Sandringham Zebras

Unfortunate news today, scans have confirmed Cam Banfield has ruptured his ACL and will require a full knee reconstruction, ending his 2015 season. We all wish you the best with your recovery Banners.

Sandringham Zebras

Disappointing news from the tribunal. Adam Cockies' 2 week suspension has been upheld, he will miss games against Essendon & Williamstown
