The moderators have noticed increased activity with posters breaking the rules regarding ongoing disputes in recent days.

Please read the rule carefully because we shall be applying it equally to all. Baiting another poster to inflame an ongoing dispute between posters will be deemed to be participation in the disputed as well.

Here is the rule:

MODERATION POLICY - PLAYING THE BALL (OPINION) AND NOT THE PLAYER (POSTER)

At no point can any post be directed negatively towards another poster in terms of abuse or threats.

Vigorous debate and friendly banter on St. Kilda Football Club matters is encouraged, as long as there is respect for each other’s opinions. No matter how much you disagree, or dismiss the worth of any opinion posted, or dismiss the worth of the poster in your eyes, your response must be respectful. Argue the facts. Post an opposing opinion. Do NOT make commentary about the poster - ONLY the post. If you tease, mock or bait another poster, or abuse them, OR repeatedly revisit past disagreements causing or creating an ongoing dispute between one or more posters, this is regarded as a breach of rules in the Fan Forum and will result in the issuing of a Saintsational warning. Such ongoing disputes can result in multiple breaches and can result in multiple Saintsational warnings.

We strongly advise that ongoing disputes be voluntarily taken to the ANIMAL ENCLOSURE forum.

I have the colours set to red / white and black using ExtremeDark Red Style by Vinny - Based on GHS style ... think it looks great.

We have also added tapatalk for those that use smart phones.

Have upgraded search features.

Happy to look at new features you may want.

Give a specific list and I can investigate.

And all funds collected for the payment of hosting the site ran out more than a year ago - Mr Magic who held the funds can confirm that - if anything he ended up out of pocket after non payers in past players sponsorships.

The site is 100% privately funded again.

No funds are being sought.

The site will never run ads or make any commercial gain.

Hi Simon. How's about adding the ability to directly embed YouTube videos? You know, of stuff like shaky footage of Pluggs and Mart 'planning their week on SS' over a beer at The Boundary? (Just so Rushie can know for sure that they aren't the same person. )

I know it's been discussed before, around the issue of copyright. However, of late on YouTube uploaders have the option to disallow the direct uploading to a third party site. So that should solve that. Besides, doesn't seem to be an issue anyway on sites too numerous to list.

And speaking of 'too numerous'... any chance of an automated spell-correct function to add that missing second 'o' that Pluggsy has failed to nail every-single-pluggin'-time?

PS: We all know the lame aliases under which P66, Sting and JB now are posting. So what's the point with the charade? Agree or disagree with some of their POVs (and all of Pluggsy's butchering of the English language )... they are still iconic SS posters, and iconic SS poster aliases. I miss them. Please bring back those iconic aliases.

I appreciate your humour and SOMETIMES those of your various comedy poster profiles.

We CAN have the video option AND have had it in the past, but unfortunately we had a security breach and were spammed by someone loading X rated porn. Not wanting a possible repeat of that, or even worse, we decided to allow links but not to load / run video on the site.

Most are happy to click on a link to go watch a video ... I do it all the time here and on other social media.

Ultimately - the video issue is a decision that is made based on social responsibility versus poster convenience.

Hopefully we can ll live with just clicking on the links to view the videos.

We read the comment as a bait of RP66. You publicly posted that someone is "the biggest problem on the site". It's a clear reference to RP66 and anyone who's been around here for any length of time would know that.
Publicly suggesting that someone is the biggest problem on the site only serves to perpetuate the long time bickering and discontent. Hence the warning.
