Last year he battled with repercussions of preseason surgery that took awhile to recover each week, this year dunno...just seems like opposition has worked him out.

It's not work rate, he is genuinely fatigued most weeks

Could have something to do with being the second ruckman most weeks. Doesn't explain dropping marks though.

he works really hard but not sure he reads play all that well. agree with the ruck thing thats not good. he almost looks like an auskicker you know trying too hard

He does and I don't know what we do about it. The perfect forward would have Bruce's kicking and durability, McCartin's hands, and Membrey's ability to get clear. We will have to settle for a hybrid.

Yes his timing seems out a lot.......... Many a time he is too far under the ball, mustn't being pushed under the ball, because he rarely seems to appeal to umpire that he's been infringed upon.
