Nathan freeman has been withdrawn from the VFL match. Haven't heard whether it's due to injury or not yet

It's a knife edge situation without having the reason confirmed. Could be amazing news or horrible.

I hope it's for a possible debut, although AR indicated he won't play seniors this year.
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Re: Nathan Freeman
Back spasms apparently.
At least it's not his hammies.
I think we should all chill about Freeman's prospects of playing AFL.
He was out of footy a long time and needs a season in the two's and a full pre season before he should be considered IMO.

Re: Nathan Freeman
Absolutely, we should chill and not put so much hope into him.
If he comes along he will be another Jack Newnes type with possibly more inside grunt. When I saw him at Vic park a few weeks ago, he looked good - has a lot of tools - but he didn't look like he was clearly a cut above the VFL, for understandable reasons.
We just need to set the bar for him at the correct level. He is not a Dangerfield or a Dal Santo or a Judd. He will, if he gets a decent run of it from here, be a very good player in 3 years time. I really think Newnes is a good comparison.

Realistically he will need several more weeks of exceptional form but suddenly the prize of his AFL debut is within reach.
St Kilda football boss Jamie Cox said told the Herald Sun the club was putting no limits on his selection prospects this year.
“He is playing good VFL footy which is just what we wanted. Freezer needed to get that continuity into his football.

He deleted the tweet it seems. From his profile he seems more like an optimistic fan rather than an ITK but who knows.saintbrat wrote:Jon Ralph obiously trawling for stories
