In a single game?

Fred Fanning

In their career I'd say Gordon Coventry.

THanks St. Fid

Seeing I have a question, I will go ahead.

Barry Hall's last game for the Saints and Allan Murray's first game for the Saints were similar for a number of reasons.

Name the opponent, the venue and what event was similar for both players.

We played Hawthorn, in TD, and they both kicked a goal after the siren?

I'm pretty sure that's correct (another reason was that they both kicked four goals), and I've got a good question, so I'll ask that now.

Who was our leading goal-kicker in 1912, and where was he recruited from?

Well you got the hard part right about kicking a goal after the siren so I'll pay that to you but both games were actually at the MCG.

Okay...

1966...

What player was a late inclusion in the last home and away match against the Hawks...????

This player strained the medial ligament in his right knee but resisted medical advice to put the knee in plaster.........

This player came off the bench in the third quarter and kicked a goal within minutes…

We ended up winning 14: 9 (93) to 13: 5 (83)

Yep the Doc...

He was ruled unfit to play against the Hawks, and went to the Sandown races to watch his horse, Legal Circle. But the Doc couldn't shake the nagging disire to help his team in its hour of need.

Baldock caught the train and arrived at Moorabbin at 1:30pm. After much discussion, he sat on the bench. As the game progressed the Saints were in trouble and Allan Jeans decided to send the Doc on the ground, he kicked a goal within minutes and we won the match..

Well done jed, your go...
