you might be right - Steven might get a game at geelong
but he would be fourth in line after their elite players
getting a game at geelong isnt the issue is it?
Rationale thought and facts here would suggest you would need to crack it for the AA team once or twice before you could even hint at elite

Hang on ... doesn't the elite a grader we all want to throw millions at really struggle handling a tag?? .Sloane no better than our Jack at handling a hard tag ....

There it was in all it's ugly glory on display yesterday. No-one capable of bringing us back into the contest. The supposed A grade player that we have (Steven) was tagged out of it in the 2nd half, just as always is the case. Sadly he looked like the only one that would break the game open. Our other potential A grade player reverted to 2017 type kicking. No key fwd can take a mark, kick accurately or have an impact.

We are getting smashed in the midfield atm, partly because we can't get any ascendancy in the ruck, and partly because our mids, in the main, are plodders. Our backs are required to do everything. Finally after 7 quarters, the dam wall broke and they succumbed as well.

can't blame the backs as they were exhausted at the end of the game from all the attack they had with held. We are too slow in the mid as we all know and have no ruckman. Until this changes we are going to get smashed.
Who is next. Adelaide. That is going to hurt. BAD

Jack Steven is definitely an A grade AFL player.
I do think that elite is obove A grade and the lines of GA Jnr and Dangrfield are elite where Jack is A grade one step down.

I think we have two A grade players in Carslile and Steven and a couple of potential A graders in Billings & Acres.
We have B & C graders by the truck load.

Carlisle should be captain. He is the only bloke who seems to actually care if we lose.
He is also the only bloke who fights and stands up when we are losing.
Clearly he has the most on field character.
Of course Richo only cares about how nice you are off field.
