When Brad Scott can come up with a plan to combat Mitchell and you can’t even copy it - then you know you’re out of your depth at the level. Just go Coach Beige. Please. Go. Now.

I really really like Billings...but wtf gives? He is so shite at goal kicking...he IS NOT ELITE.
He absolutely can not kick a worth a damn. He needs to go back to vfl and get his game sorted because he is so pathetic it is hurting his confidence everytime he misses and I am sick to death of watching him butcher the ball.
He has potential literally oozing out of his pores and I am starting to fix his woes on coaching...he has not improved over last year as facts called stats prove...something has to give because I reckon Billings is a Brownlow winner.
Lack basic skills.
Can’t hit a target.
Can’t convert.
Can’t move the ball into forward 50 with any purpose.
No pressure.
Game plan?

This is the North game all over again. Last week was an abberation.
Dud - you are right on ALL counts. Especially - NO game plan. IF there is a game plan - the players aren't listening. The coach has 'lost' them. Time to get a new coach. IF there isn't a game plan - the players need better. Time to get a new coach. Saints have been deskilled... much in the same way Tony Shaw did when he was coach of Collingwood. The link - this moron is from Collingwood too! Can't convert - yet we are paying Ben Dixon very well (thank you) to teach us how to kick goals?! Moving the ball into the forward line - NO game plan. No pressure on opposition - don't know what to do... poor coaching. Richardson will never be more than a 'good' assistant. And where is our whimpy bloody President during all of this - sitting on his hands watching the money go to his buddies re-imagining Moorabbin?!

DJ - that requires TWO things to happen. The coach must first identify that he is somehow a 'dangerous' player... Second - we must have someone skilled enough to know how to do the job. It will not happen because of both of the above.

There has been one ( No 9) and it has largely worked because his possessions are hurried and ineffectual.

The only player I think we have with any class is Ben Long, but he is young and we should be able to knock it out of him in no time flat

In the unlikely event that any of our coaches read this thread I implore them of their need to be ready for the third quarter blitzkrieg coming their way in the first ten minutes of the third quarter. Blind Freddy could see Clarko is going to be doing some hot gospelling at half time and the Hawks will certainly come out breathing fire.

Putting a hard tag on Mitchell needs to happen, and McCartin needs to stay at FF, so that we are at least a chance of kicking four goals in the third quarter, because that is the absolute minimum we will need to be in front or within a kick at the final change.

Then move Carlisle into the forward line when we get the momentum going. And double team Breust at all costs. He shouldn't be going for marks one out at all.

David - too much reliance on SMALL players with average skills and no elite fitness. The whole bloody team is slower than Hawthorn... and that is saying something!
