"Kruezer V2" Cup - Friday 13th July

Post: # 1729347Post Enrico_Misso »

This is shaping up as our MOST IMPORTANT GAME OF THE SEASON by far.

A loss here will pretty much secure Number 1 draft pick.

That gives us just 6 games to perfect our turnover techniques to withstand exposure to the aimless incompetencies of Caaaarlscum.

There is one other danger game against Gold Coast in that block of 6, but being an away game we should be safe.

Then we are home and hosed.
The home straight only has one minor obstacle - a Round 21 away game to the Dopers.

Then the #1 pick will be ours, and we can focus our efforts on how to waste it.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Pick 2 is better
There have been lots of dud pick 2's but without the scrutiny of pick 1.

We probably will get 1 as I can't see us winning too many more games.
Maybe we could ask for a priority pick us well as we don't have a second round pick

Let’s trade our first pick for picks 4 & 7.

More likely to trade it for three picks much later in the draft and trout will pass on all of them.

What in the Zeus’s butthole is wrong with some people here with their obsession with the #1 draft pick in order to become a better team! This means another wooden spoon, as if we don’t have enough of them.

You don’t see Geelong, Sydney, Hawthorn, even the Kangaroos, etc. ever aiming and finishing up with a wooden spoon, and I don’t think for a moment they always draft better players. They just know how to nurture and develop their players.

Another wooden spoon would simply NOT be acceptable - EVER!

I'd love to give Carlton another spoon for their shelf.

The R17 Kruezer Cup is one round closer and looming.

Fri 13th July is beckoning.
The battle for the wooden spoon and bragging rights to the worst coach in the competition.

Looks like Richo has moved us into the box seat.

Don't be stupid
We take one of the King boys with pick 1.
Then two years later we trade in the other brother who is either at Brisbane, Carlton or Gold Coast.
We can give them Pudding McCartin as a trade.
