Great News for Robbo and his family.

Hopefully it means great news for the club too.

From what I understood he couldn't, or wasn't allowed to do any form of physical exercise for the remainder of the year, or at least until the doctors captured 3 months of data from a logger recording his heart condition. And from there some decisions could be made. Someone might be able to confirm if I've got the details correct.

If it's correct, does being ahead of schedule on that original plan mean good news. Let's hope so.

I think the problem is that they couldn't anything wrong and therein lies the issue - what caused it and could it happen again?

He is still fitted with a pacemaker, and is still unable to drive a car so, although he is running again, he is a long way from playing again. But it is good to see him back doing some physical activity, if only for his personal well being

Great news. Good thing for us but moreso for Dylan and his family.
I don't believe it's a pacemaker fitted but a heart monitor.

Too many pingas the night before ?
Maybe.....
Acute anxiety attack due to failed acting career ?
Maybe....
Sudden realization that with 3 sqwarkers and her indoors his life might as well be over ?
Maybe ....

Virus. Robbo has already stated that he had been sick a few days before.

Back in full non-contact training today.

Even better news is that the medicos believe it was some sort of viral infection rather than an ongoing heart condition. So that not only gives him an explanation for what happened but gives him confidence it won't be a recurring problem.

Should be right to do a full pre-season.
Great just to see him running around again.
Even better if he gets back to his AA squad form.

The wrong virus can make a mess of your heart.
My sister has a heart synchroniser and a defibrillator installed.
Heart damaged by a virus is suspected.

Article on ABC news website

"Dr Barbour said Roberton was now training "at very good levels" and would undergo his next round of tests in the next one to two months."
