Have we won any of the five. If net cost is the issue why not just forfeit or cancel loss making games have an extra bye and renegotiate salaries based on less games. Instead of percentage the league table could show return on investment. The hypocrisy of the AFL claiming a levelish playing field with home and away evenness over a couple of years. How much has been spent I wonder in subsidies to Suns and GWS, some of that could have gone into an equalisation fund so Saints don't have to go to Port each year and the Suns could hardly have been worse off.

No, its because there are so many weak as piss St Kilda supporters that don't turn up to watch us play, which means if we play interstate clubs at Etihad and draw crowds less than 20k we bleed money, better off to play interstate.
