Can someone explain all the hate for this bloke on SS?
What did I miss? I have only ever found him to be honest and accurate when assessing the Saints.
After seeing what he has done to Melbourne (if the Melbourne faithful think he is to be thanked for this turnaround then who are we to argue?), then he’d surely be good enough for a basketcase like us.

His dowdy style and sooky carry on whilst at Melbourne was fine by his employer (the AFL) and begrudgingly tolerated by the media, but could you imagine what would happen to St Kilda if we fronted up with that whinging goose as a figurehead? No thanks.

Paul Roos is to Goody's Demons what Grant Thomas was to Lyon's Saints.
Roos set them up with a legacy for the youngsters, he instilled the discipline, he helped set up the structures including the bond between the players and he developed leaders who would ultimately drive the belief and the success of the team.
