Jack Steven to Sydney??
Not that this means much obviously but I saw somewhere that Jack Steven was spotted in Sydney meeting with the Swans management... Anyone able to shed some light on this one?

Re: Jack Steven to Sydney??
There are rumours, not from ITKs:
Steven and our first pick to Sydney for Hannebery, Parker and their first pick.
Make of it what you will. I very much doubt Jack will be traded, the only possibility of that happening would be if it meant we were getting Shiel or Gaff.

Some good tales this time of year.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Jack Steven to Sydney??
The exit interview Jack had makes perfect sense to me. If we were about to start a new rebuild, there would be no point him sticking around. We would stay at the bottom for another 4 years and when we come back up, Jack would be just about ready to retire.
Thankfully the club assured Jack that we were not rebuilding and it looks like we are finishing the original rebuild with some ready made players. Hopefully this sees the saints move up the ladder and become more attractive to free agents next year.
Jack has been very open on the media that after his meeting he's not going anywhere.

I want to know how the details of this exit meeting our out into the media?
How many people attend these exit interviews? A couple of coaches, leathlean? And then the player and his manager?
It's come out somewhere and it's probably from steven's side... think there is more to this unfortunately

Re: Jack Steven to Sydney??
Putting aside the lack of proof Jack has met with Sydney and the problem he'd have surfing at Circular Quay, having the Club's senior and best player asking if the club is in a rebuild surely means he was being rhetorical to send the message he is disappointed with where the team and senior coaching as a collective are at and heading. How could any player not be. It surprises me more are not asking to be released; but perhaps they are sounding out options and are finding they are just not wanted by other clubs.
