If we didn't beat Gold Coast in Round 13?

We would now have pick 2 at the Draft.

Would Richo still be our coach however?

Discuss.

Shades of the Daniel Wulf poster that contributed to us finishing the season with 5.5 wins and missing the priority pick that would have been Daniel Wells most likely.

Would have been a handy player in 09-10.

Seems like a lose lose outcome.

Would have probably been a pretty handy player in 04,05,06 too. I always think that was a better team than 09,10. They were just crueled by so many injuries.

BJ took a long time to come good. Wells could have been the difference in '04 and '05. By '09 we might have struggled to fit all those stars under one salary cap, however.

Yeah... ‘05.... Came out of the weeks break with more injuries and sore bodies than we had going in.

We did win. What’s the point?

If we had won every game we would be Premiers.

Or a more realistic position if we had lost and Richo got sacked we then win 3 or 4 games in the new coach grace period and we end up a few spots higher up the ladder with a lower draft pick.

It is all just speculation.
We won, he didn't get sacked, we are where we are. Now we have to make the best of what we have.

I was at the Gold Coast game and it was one of the best Saints comebacks I’ve ever seen live, so much fun when Gresh kicked that goal!!! Personally, perhaps selfishly, I wouldn’t trade that memory for a better draft pick...
