It was Alan Murray, (who was kickless on debut for Port) vs Hawthorn in 2004.

That is incorrect ric.... I have rephrase my question to the next player..

There was a player before that.

Everitt made a fine debut in the first couple of games of '93 but who scored Brownlow votes in both Round 1 and Round 2 for the Saints?

Laurence Bingham - 1 vote in each game.

25 games only 1992/93.

N.B. One Nicky Winmar received 3 votes in R2 for 31 possies and a goal.
I also saw that Sean Ralphsmith played a blinder with 29 possies and Darren Bourke picked up 32 possies (and 2 goals).

A guy called Harvey had a quiet day and picked up 27 possies and a goal!!

Such a long time ago!!

According to AFL Tables, Bingham's stats in Round 1 were:
4 kicks, 4 marks, 3 handballs, 3 hit outs and 1 tackle. Must have been an eye catching tackle.

Shame on you Jed!!
That tackle must have been last quarter!!
Maybe the ump got confused with number 30 and number 35? - 35 had another quiet day in R1 with 30 possies and 2 goals.

Anyway - an easy? question.

How may AFL teams will see "September action" in 2006? Why?

Who is currently recognized as the worlds best batsman (possibly worlds best player) in cricket, never to have played a Test match.

Hint: The country this player comes from features all of the St Kilda colours somewhere on their flag.

The flag colours suggests Sth Africa.

Possibly you thought Barry Richards (played 4 tests) who has been described as the worlds best opener?

Close, but no. This player has never played Test cricket, and most likely never will, for reasons outside of his control.

"most likely never will" possibly suggests a current player....

couldn't be John Davison of "Canada" as their flag is only red and white.

...can't think of anyone from Zimbabwe...

...must be a South African?...not Clive Rice?

was a good question took a bit of research

There has been a lot of talk of the 94 St.K FC v Swans game and the last quarter shown on Fox.

In the last quarter shown who kicks the first goal for the Saints?

and I hope my memory is right

Its a Swans player who kicks the first, but our first would have been kicked by Plugger, he kicked all but 1 of our goals to that stage.

could stand corrected but it was a player shooting from a very acute angle

maybe my memory is absolute rubbish here but I believe it was a midfielder

Rod Keogh kicked an absolute ripper from the boundary line, but I dont think it was our first of the quarter.

Maybe Dean Greig??
