Dunstan Team first Ethic
With the introduction of the 6-6-6 rule the need to reduce clean clearances is essential. Dunstans role in the middle to block bottle up and reduce effective opposition clearances has been both selfless and superb. To curb the natural instinct and ball chase has gone a long way to us being 2-0. Thumbs up Luke

Yeah the Herald Sun stats will probably take a bit of time to catch up to the modern game so we will have to put up with the haters for a little while longer.CURLY wrote: ↑Mon 01 Apr 2019 8:24pm With the introduction of the 6-6-6 rule the need to reduce clean clearances is essential. Good post CURLY, and I thought your role was purely to criticize umpires.CURLY wrote: ↑Mon 01 Apr 2019 8:24pm With the introduction of the 6-6-6 rule the need to reduce clean clearances is essential. The man of Steele is also a strong body and plays a similar role, and I'm hoping Acres as well.
If our tough in-and-under guys are doing their job it makes it easier for Billings, Sinclair, Gresham and Hunter Clark types.
Our coach and selectors value Dunstan, unlike many on this forum.

Re: Dunstan Team first Ethic
there was one quick goal against the Suns
centre bounce, Luke blocked a guy so Seb could sweep up the loose ball, and he turned onto his left,
had 2 bounces, was well in the clear, and hit Bruce on the chest.
Luke done good

Not sure how highly Richo values Dunstan or Acres, they’ve been treated very shoddily when it comes to selection integrity...imoToy Saint wrote: ↑Mon 01 Apr 2019 9:24pmGood post CURLY, and I thought your role was purely to criticize uCURLY wrote: ↑Mon 01 Apr 2019 8:24pm With the introduction of the 6-6-6 rule the need to reduce clean clearances is essential. Re: Dunstan Team first Ethic
I just love Luke's goal on Saturday....leaning forward while running at full pace without know what was ahead of him (simply courageous)...then regaining balance to goal from 50. Magnificent!!!
Just shows that he has class & disposal can be very effective.
Hope he is able to continue the great early season work - very important player for the saints
Well done luke

Re: Dunstan Team first Ethic
I like Dunstan. Let's be honest, Armitage is behind everyone now in the middle. Clark and Hannebery need to fit in there too later on.
It's good to see Billings, Dunstan and Acres are now looking like proper men on the footy field from that same draft many years back.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.
