This is based on fellas actually playing at the moment in the side and are fit so no injured players are included. My take, any other thoughts? It's an interesting one.
No particular order:
Billings
Ross
Savage - geez he is playing very well
Gresham
Steele
I nearly found a spot for Dean Kent but only after he gets a bit more consistency.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.
Total = 1.
Would add Marshall and Battle as our most consistently good players this year, as well as Webster and Savage. And I reckon Membrey and Acers have been quite good.
To be honest, I've been a tad disappointed with Gresham this year, possibly the extra attention or possibly the extra time in the midfield is taking it's toll. I've also a bit ho-hum with Seb Ross, admittedly he seems to accumulate stats but they don't seem to result in goals.

I think the main problem with Gresh is that he is trying to do the incredible just way too much. He needs to concentrate more on being an effective player.
He is often wasteful as his attempts at freakish kicks are simple just not working often enough.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....
Battle
Acres
Billings
Marshall
Bruce (given he continues to mark)
Membrey would be an inclusion if he were the 3rd option because as a 3rd option he would have few in front of him
The side we put on the park post the bye will be of interest - and hopefully it includes Steven who would rank even with Carlisle as our most valuable player
What we do look for also it the progression of our higher end Draft Picks over the last couple of years as they develop and mature
And a fit Hannebery would be a bonus
Then the pressure really comes on for places and the side improves accordingly
Then Roberton and Mc Cartin plus who else we can add for 2020 would really improve our options
And we need another ruck option capable of also playing as a key position player
Josh Battle is coming along in leaps and bounds - to me, he is the real success story so far this year. To have someone that can play both back and forward equally as well is such a valuable commodity to have.

This is pretty good although I wouldn't have in that order
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Top 5 who would be leading the Trevor Barker Medal would be slightly different to who our 'best' 5 players are
Our best player is Billings. He'd also be leading the TB count imo. I'd have Steele second, Savage just ahead in third spot and a group of players including Marshall, Battle, and Bruce close behind Sav. Ross may poll well in the medal, but I'd have Seb slightly behind this lot and probably Acres, Gresh, Wilkie, DMac and Parker are more important in as far as playing well if we are going to win...imho
Gresh is easily one of our best players but has had hohum games and average games this year. He is getting attention from oppositions so it limits his impact at times. He may turn out to be a barometre for the team for the remainder of the year
