Seb Ross needs to be cleaner than that, if he’s going to play in the middle.

Seb Ross is a very damaging footballer..for them. The more he gets it, the more he damages us with his disposal. He keeps putting us out of position.

Quite possibly the most overrated midfielder - of any team - in the last 20 years. A waddler with a sh!t kick and no vision or speed.

He literally has nothing even B grade about him. Just a C Grade midfielder. At VAFA level

Problem 1)

The reality is our midfield is one the worst in the AFL. We have no stars. Ross would probably be the fifth or sixth rotaion midfielder in most of the Top 4-6 teams. Gresh and Billings cant break games open. Steele is honest but again not a game breaker. Marshall is the best of the lot as far as talent.
Yes we have endeavour and courage but we cant sustain it for 4 quarters so eventually, like all the other games we lost this year, we get found wanting in the last. We are a shockingly poorly skilled side and we make it up for it by running around like madmen for 3 quarters which keeps us in it but as soon as we run out of steam, its all over.

Problem 2) Our goal kicking (or lack of) is just not acceptable. I dont buy this tired in games crap. It dosnt seem to effect other teams. In fact other teams seem to go up a level of accuracy, against us. They are paid, full time footballers. Its THE most fundemental part of the game and we are a mile off every other team in the comp. The entire list should be having 100 shots at goal a week. Even coming in on their days off until this is resolved.
They are paid enough to warrant pulling them out of their comfort zones and put in the time.
If this keeps happening past the bye then its time to move on Richo as its becoming systemic. Clocks ticking.

Agree. We don't have the depth of the better clubs and Collingwood ptrobably have more depth in that area than anyone. If we had Steven and Hannebury it would help but we'd still need a couple more.
The goal kicking is ridiculous. And it's not the difficult shots that are hurting us. It's the ones you should get 9 times out of 10 that we seem to be 50-50 with. Especially when you put in all the effort up the ground. Must be deflating for the guys getting it down there.

Its been going on for about 5 years now, there comes a time when a line in the sand is drawn..

They may have good qualities but if you can't kick to a target when our or a goal then you are out...

As a father of 2 special needs children, it always breaks my heart to see crap like this.

Is anyone else seeing the superior level of fitness that the Saints were supposed to have that would enable them to run over teams at the end of matches?

Collingwood's skills were markedly better (hate saying that) when it counted but the Saint's hunting efforts had disappeared as well.

Amongst other things I don't understand why Nathan Brown was minding Stevenson for patches nor why Sidebottom was allowed so much free rein (skills not withstanding).
