Linty’s round 15 review

In honour of Richo and Sammy, here’s my round 15 review...

1 - Coffy is developing nicely is the kid, positions well and reviews strongly, a bloody ripper who’ll work on his kinks with the Zebs and be a bloody beauty and play a lot of good footy for the Zebs, you bloody beauty!

2 - A bloody beauty is Jakey, positions well, strong at either end, big fella is Big Jake, a ripping fella who’s big.

4 - Gresh is a bloody ripper, one of the strongest reviewers at the club, positions like a beauty, a bloody beauty.

5 - Sav is a ripper, kicks the skin off the pill, ripping fella, another pleasing day from Sav.

6 - Another pleasing performance from the skipper. Leads from the front, and gives strong leadership, a bloody ripper of a skipper.

7 - Lukey’s really starting to put together some strong footy for the footy club, he’s a bull the big fella and a bloody ripper at footy, expect some strong back end form.

8 - Blakey is fast becoming one of the premier ruckman of the comp which is pleasing, he’s not big but the oppo don’t know what’s hit em when he gives Rowo a chop out, a bloody beauty is Blakey.

9 - Steeley’s a beauty, a real bloody beauty, nuff said! You beauty!

10 - Hanners is a ripping fella, from a good system, rebuilt and ready to go, we’re expecting 100 plus games from the little champ, a real leader and a bloody ripper.

11 - A good step from Clarky today, he’ll review strongly come Monday, then hit the track strongly during the week, a bit more work with the Zebs over the coming months, and he’ll be a ripper.

15 - Great game from Jacky boy, he’s becoming a real leader at the footy club, and added real hardness to his game, a bloody ripper.

16 - One of Newnsy’s quieter games but what people don’t see is the work he does off the ball, he’ll give you a contest every time and you know what you’re gonna get, he’s fit as a Mallee bull and strong at the contest, a bloody ripper is Newnsy.

19 - Rowo’s a ripper who’s getting minutes ahead of his time because of injuries to Lewy and Billy, but is able to give a chop out to Blakey in the stoppages. Positions well, strong at the contest and a bloody beauty who’ll be a bloody beauty, you bloody beauty.

20 - Dave’s emergency work was energetic and strong, full of energy and leadership. He’ll play a lot of good footy for the Saints will Dave, a bloody beauty.

21 - Longy’s a true half backer who’s been forced forward though injury. We like what he gives us there, he’s strong, positions well, reviews strongly, a ripping fella, who’ll make his name as a half back flanker, great story, you beauty.

26 - Joshy’s growing with every week, he’s a beautiful kick of the pill, a real dead eye dick in front of the sticks, a natural aggressive forward who’ll cut a swathe off the half back line.

27 - He’s a ripper is Brucey, a real blood beauty.

28 - Timmy was really strong again, he leads from the front and gives you a real contest in front of the ball, he kicks us our goals does Timmy, you bloody beauty.

31 - Matty’s a real beauty, a great story and gives us real frontal pressure around the sticks and stoppages, a ripper is Matty.

33 - Patto is a bloody beauty who’s really showing some strong backend form, you bloody beauty.

35 - Like Newnsy, Sincs is one of the first picked each week, he positions well, is strong at the contest, reviews like a beauty and is a real ripper.

36 - DMac had a ripper game again, he plays his role week in week out, positions like a beauty, and he’s a real beauty.

40 - Hindy brings some real flair into the squad, he ran around the oppo which was pleasing, and was real strong at the contest, a ripper is Hindy.

44 - Wilks was strong again, a great story is Wilks, few position or rebound better than Wilks, he keeps the oppo guessing and that’s what we like about Wilks, he’s a beauty and a ripper, you bloody beauty.

Nice work Linty, I kind of enjoys Sammy’s weekly review of Saints listed players playing for Sandy.

Amongst the plethora of strong & pleasing is the multiple nicknames used. Each week I look for new nics for Bailey Rice and am rarely disappointed with the latest being “Ricewall”

Chol's goal - coaching, pressure and coordination at its best. Game was gone anyway but good to see initiative from the boys - as drilled by Ratts - not me.

The zone effort on Stack worked a treat, big improvement from the damage Cameron caused last week. Good learnings. My idea that one.

7 goals to half time. Job's done. No need for histrionics or stating the obvious at the break. You can goal early or goal often. We chose early on this occasion. Often is over rated.
