Terrible crowd. Saturday night is a good time slot and I was there. The Dees had less fans there than all intestate teams bar GC and GWS would have had! Farcical times.

Footscray played Freo on Sunday at 1.10pm and had only 1K less - but that was the only game in Melbourne yesterday. We had to compete with Carlton/Adelaide at the G for the neutrals which got a healthy 38K

Public transport kills that time ..... buses replacing trains in the southern suburbs which is where most of the Saints supporters live.

I live in the north west, all trains running and didn't get home until 11.30pm.

Can only imagine how hard it would have for the supporters who live in south and south east.

I would say. less than 4 thousand dees fans, with the rest dyed in the wool Sainters. The Dees lot have all taken their range rovers and gone skiing.
