Max King Injury?

Post: # 1834001Post Mr Magic »

Apparently there are rumours on the net about Max King injuring his leg in the last couple of days.

I have no idea if it's true or not, but post it in case it is.

If Max is injured, now would be the best time, if there is such a thing... as long as it’s not the knee

It’s a low level shin splint thing due to all the work he’s doing building a base coming back from the knee and other injury according to someone on uncensored.

Should be fine for round 1, 2020

I had shin splints back in the late 80's early 90' & they are extremely painful & back in the day it was hard to get over but you would think in this day & age there would be a fairly basic rehab to solve the issue.

Hopefully all good soon. I wondered why he didn’t take place in the 3km trial. Unfortunately injuries cause injuries so let’s hope this is the end of Max’s for a while

There is, physio and acupuncture.

Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

I vividly recall getting my shinsplints massaged by a physiotherapist 20 years ago. I'm sure it's one of Dante's circles of hell.

As distinct from some random nipsy on this forum who's also probably a member of the Uncensored, Inner Sanctum and all of the other fan sites (that are just a different version of this joint) on FB?

Righto then ...

He trained strongly on Saturday morning at Sandy. Forward line structure was King, Membrey, Marshall

Issue may have been back end of training .. perhaps something flared up post...

Not distinct at all.
If someone on here posts something like that with no source I'll question it, unless they have a proven track record.

Shin splints are caused by overstraining of your muscles where they attach to your shin.
The most common cause is overuse or overtraining associated with poor foot and leg biomechanics.

https://physioworks.com.au/injuries-con ... in-splints

Shin splints result when muscles, tendons and bone tissue become overworked.
Shin splints often occur in athletes who've recently intensified or changed their training routines.

So for everyone out there worried about this ... Max King was running laps at TB Oval this morning and doing repeat sprints.

Saw it with my own eyes.

Trained well today. Lots of overhead marking and long shots at goal. They’re training all over the place at the moment as Moorabin’s surface is poor.

Hmm... didn’t I state that last season and got howled down?!

As a surface

Moorabbin is a pile of s*** compared to TBBO or Seaford!

Hey Toenails, can King kick them from well outside 50 or not a penetrating kick?
