Their leaders stood up and took the game by the scruff of the neck.

The Saints... no leadership at all.

That was the difference.

Terrible shots at goal cost us. taking too many hopeful snaps. Ratten has gotten our skills a lot better but not a tactician in my opinion.
Stop blaming King as the entry to him was terrible and when he got near the ball he was good, especially for a big man.
Hopefully Kent has played his last game for us as he was crap, in fact based on tonight a lot of players could be dropped. Good news is we may only have more week of this crap

Hill, 800k, kicks a right foot cross his body on his left side that would have put us 13 up. Disappointing.

Stopped watching at half time. Lost faith.

Went into the studio and played drums

Did not need to see the inevitable fight back only to another crushing loss.

Well done to all you stoics for sticking it out.

Were they missing 8 of their top 12 And had one of their stars go down at half time?

We refuse to take our chances

GWS will run back onto form next round....ink it in.

Bad coaching. Ryder getting towelled up in the last qtr but stayed in the ruck the whole time. Marshall should have goner in there halfway through when west coast came back
Ratts seems like a nice bloke, but I think he has been found out by the opposition as the season has gone on. We are playing with at least 4 passengers in recent games and we can't win against better quality with that scenario.

Same crap every week.
Andrews, May and tonight Barrass taking uncontested marks down back.
Way too predictable.
Need a few more tricks if going to improve.
That was a very bad loss.

Can some reporter please ask Fatten in the press conference why Carlisle isn't playing?

Also why we refused to go down the centre corridor?

We only have ourselves to blame. Dominated the first 30 minutes of the match, missed goals and kicked it straight to west coast defenders. We get back into it in the last quarts and Hill missed one from 15 m which he should kick with his eyes closed to put us three goals up. Gaff and Kelly had 62 possessions between them. Only Steele cam close with 27. The theme of the last six weeks has been the same. Poor midfield output and shocking kicking to the forward line and poor kicking for goal.

Too true Teflon. Bunch of front runners. No accountability. I’m sick of the same trash dished up constantly. 62 years of sorrow interspersed with one solitary truly successful year. I don’t care if we’re smashed next week. Just flick the dead wood, Ratten! Stop trying to be mister nice guy.

Lonie several times got caught on his right and did his s*** ole turn back fall over and got caught

Ross got caught on his right side too and it cost us forward momentum trying to double back

I'm not trying to gloss over the cracks but we lost because we are not up to it ATM . Eagles had a B grade team away from home & still beat us. I don't blame the coach or the current playing group they have done a pretty good job but obviously a long way to go . Need to recruit , delist & try again next year & as disappointing as it is to fall over at the end of the season it's not all doom & gloom IMO

We were effectively six players down too.

That performance was garbage. Two quarters of that game we were just spectating.

I'm over it. Not good enough.

I would send Kent home now. Save the AFL a week's accomodation.

6.14 Im sick of this s***.

Our team balance is so out of wack it's not funny and what's worrying is that it's seems to not be obvious to the coach who I'm starting to wonder is he playing favourites instead of form. We have looked out of sorts for weeks but no obvious changes or change of game plan. We've been worked out and we're playing accordingly with our panic possions football. Total lack of composure and when you have your leaders in Ross and Billings shanking every other kick it just kills the team. We would have lost by 40+ points if WC were full strength.

Umpiring was poor in the last 1/4, but good teams take their chances and we didnt. If we kick straight on goal the game would be ours.

I also think our midfield went back to last years habbit of giving those dinky little handballs which invited pressure.

I liked that Ratts threw Clark into the middle in the 2nd half, but we are still 2 x quality midfielders away from being a top side.

Not sure the wet helped us tonight as it just accentuated our fumbling and s*** skills - West Coast handled the conditions a lot better

Saints blew a golden opportunity.

Started with not picking the right team for the known wet conditions. Too small a backline just so Geary get a game when does not have a suitable backup.

Next team read the Weagles out and like most games that we get cocky about underperform by taking it too easy.

With those out Weagles had few stars, and Ratts match up did not work.

Ryder was good all night. Though Nic Nat turned the game the Weagles way in the last quarter.

Kelly showed us the type of elit mid that we do not have. Did not tag him early, and so allowed to give him a sniff.

4 small forwards meant small bodies in wet conditions. Worst game Kent has every played for is.

Steele was reasonably good. Sinclair probably played his best game for the year, Howard solid at FB and Patoton ok.

Clark turn the game our way in the second half. So promising.

Jones was excellent if you like first quarters only.

King struggled in the wet.

We just did not work hard enough as a team and were too haphazard. We also did not play wet weather football.

Kent looks good against bottom 6 sides, and gets dominated by top 6 sides....Not worth persisting with. Depth at best. Has had several years at AFL level .

He will get picked next week because Ratten loves him

5 more inside 50s

6 less marks inside 50

7 more tackles inside 50

Does anyone know the free count inside 50?
