Wrecking Ball Destroys Another High Rise
Ben Long does it again.
Wrecking ball destroyed another high rise.
Total wrecked Sam Reid's day.
Opponents be scared, be very scared, wrecking ball will get you.

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Re: Wrecking Ball Destroys Another High Rise
I was thinking he’s a very pointy player in that he seems to be all elbows and knees. Nothing against the rules but hits hard and the opposition feel it.
Opinions are like arseholes, everybody's got one.

I played footy with Sam’s dad in Cairns and recall him as a toddler at the games. His old man followed the Saints too after trialling there once He’s good mates with Danny Craven who I met one summer with him

I'd rather he play like does and maybe miss 3 matches a season than go softer... it wouldn't work for him. It's his instinct, and it's a good one.
Gehrig emerged from scans yesterday saying he was "as sweet as a bun"

You'd guess that's Reids last game of AFL, bad way to finish.

Love the toughness of Longy. He hits hard. Reminds me of an 80's and 90's player. Every side needs a bloke like that.

He’s turning into a gun, isn’t he. He’s quick, tackles hard and rarely wastes a disposal. Has flown under the radar a bit.

Re: Wrecking Ball Destroys Another High Rise
His ability to hit hard brings a physcological edge to the team. He brings perceived pressure and he brings perceived pain. Opposition players would have it in their head that if BL is in the vicinity when they get the ball, there's a good chance they are going to suddenly be in a world of pain. It may bring only a 1% of doubt, but that is a win for the team.

Big fan of Longy. Big, big fan. He is my second favourite player after Big Jake.
Another favourite of ours is Phillips.

You wouldn't want to find Longy on a grassy knoll.
