I’m with you. Possibly our most consistent this season and kicked a couple of crucial goals to get us going on Saturday. I’d be surprised if he wants to go to Norf. He’s well paid where he is ... and valued.

Yes, No1 draft pick, but our recruiters would waste it on another DAFT pick.
Better not to trust them with another No1.
Instead split it into pick Nos 8 and 9.

Hate the idea of losing him for an FA pick
Reckon he’s quality and a player that’s capable of elite level performances even if he’s inconsistent.
Ultimately you need players like him in the best 22 and he looks to me like he’s steadily improving and turning it on more

I think he's just starting to come into his own. He's probably in the top 3 of our B&F this season so far so a $1m+/5y deal combined with a solid best and fairest means we'd get a really, really solid pick in return you'd imagine. With both North and Essendon looking like bottom 4 teams compo could quite easily be a Top 10 pick.
