Post: # 1913124Post Banger9798 »

Gresham
Paton
Higgins
Hannaberry
Clark
Coffield
Bytel
Battle
Wood

Who would you include?

Higgins in for Kent
Gresham for Connelly

The only reasobly obvious ones

Then it is a debate between the depth guys
Webster vs Paton
DMac vs Clark
Hannaberry vs Byrnes

Thoughts?

Out of that list only Gresham Paton Clark and Higgins are must have to me
Hannerbury finished
Wood can still go awol
I’d like Byrnes in but we are balanced now so v wet hard IF Dunstan drops away or maybe it’s Ross whose in danger...

I pretty much agree

We could not afford to lose

1 or both of the ruck/forwards - we did

1 or both of Jones/Gresham - we did

The rest we have covered, but those players were ‘point of difference players!

Hannabery for Kent is about the only change - maybe Higgins for Butler.

Butler is best 22 but out of form

Maybe needs a run in the magoos? If the next game is at Marvel, I’d keep him in for his speed though

Pretty sure Hunter Clark is in our best 22.

The top five names are all best 22. But great to see the likes of Byrnes, Highmore, Webster, Connelly fight to keep their spot. Coffield vs Highmore on current form the latter definitely keeps his spot. Dunstan has sealed a midfield role for now. A couple of more games like that and Long will have as well. Butler out of form i'd rest for higgins, but likely it will be kent out. If Hanna's is fit its likely connelly. Battle really on the fringe atm, but a good utility sub.
Just a pity it took so long for the players to play with a bit of self belief and killer instinct. That adelaide game will hurt.

Always going to be injuries
Nice this year we have the opportunity it’s to see our young guys play and give them time at AFL level, through just the weight of injuries. Byrnes is a lock each week for me

Hanners is a 10% chance of playing any games so I would count him

Gresham for Connolly
Paton for mckenzie
Higgins for Seb ross
Hannaberry ?????? Dreaming
Clark for Dunstan
Coffield for Kent
Bytel Depth
Battle Ryder
Wood Depth

.

Great post. A problem any coach would love to have.

And it’s only a problem because DMac, Connelly and Byrnes have been so solid with DMac and Byrnes near certain first 22
