Apologies to
Gresham, Wilkie, Sinclair, Long, Wood
You have included Steele twice. Not sure how you could leave Sinclair out!

Maybe not so much
[However the top 6 account for 88.5% of the votes so far]

Just as a note, The Age's John Pierik who has reported the Saint's last two games hasn't a clue.
Two weeks in a row Sinclair has been arguably the Saints best player and he didn't get a mention in the best players in either game.
He just looks at the top possession players statistically and goes from there.

Super tough to give votes. Very even team game.

Votes this week are personal bias skewed for sure (humans can't help it).

5. Sinclair (good all day and his pack punch in the 3rd was the turning point - in retrospect)
4. Ross (don't like him much but he was a leader and set the tone in the 3rd and 4th.
3. Membrey. Really there when we needed him.
2. Ryder (maybe we would not have won without him?)
1. King. Two of his goals were absolute spine tinglers.

I watched the replay closely.
Crouch played really well but only twice was a game changer. Good game though.

Marshall, Battle, Webster and Leinert did very important things. Say Hi to my bias.

Most journos just look at the stats, hence why Seb is named among the best every week.

That is just rubbish. He has been a good player all year and bloody good against the Tigers. Do you even attend or watch Saints games?

And that whoever it is kicked 2 goals

The work done by those who run the flanks closing down options and which does not appear in stats is a case in point. On Sunday this relentless running from defence to attack by the likes of Number 7 and Number 8 but not reflected in disposals was vital to the end result

Everyone has a part to me play

You don’t get to stand with your hands on your hips

It is constant moving honouring team patterns the players are educated to

This is why I do not subscribe to “best players”, instead recognising the contribution to team and result

I'm not just talking about this year. Seb was very good on Sunday and probably turned the game.
I'm talking about the games where he has 30 possessions and 60% of them are turnovers.

I thought Crouch and Wood were a big influence in the 3rd and 4th, more so than Ross.
