Having said that, haven’t had the flu in years because I get vaccinated

Was not even effected. I know it’s not the same for everyone, but I’ve had 3 vaccinations and could barely tell I had COVID

Already 2 pages of people insisting that they bend our ears on everything about their personal covid experiences and/or fixations - Can someone remind them that players are usually NOT selected to play and discouraged from close contact with other members of the team when they have flu symptoms as well.

If Ratts and players aren't subjected to testing 4 times a day then they won't miss any footy if they are positive but don't have any symptoms.

The AFL should not be imposing any rules or restrictions that aren't being imposed by Governments.

Just like the flu, millions of people roam the globe who are positive but don't have symptoms. We never tested back then so why keep profits up for manufacturers who make test kits.

Natural immunity must be allowed to play its role.

Core restrictions across all settings


COVID-19 Safety Plans must be prepared by certain businesses and able to be produced if requested by an authorised officer.
Check In CBR is still required at:
Licensed bars and pubs
Registered clubs
Nightclubs
Strip clubs and brothels
Certain organised public events that are not ticketed or pre-registered, are also required to use Check in CBR. This includes organised events conducted on a one-off or periodic basis which are open to the public and are publicly announced or advertised. For example, conferences, markets (exc food markets) and music events.
The ACT Government's Health Guidelines for Schools and Early Childhood Education and Care (including out of school hours care) requires all staff and visitors to check in to each site using Check In CBR.
As of 6pm Friday 25 February, face masks are only required in certain settings.


My understanding is that if you test positive or are a close contact ,you are required to isolate for 7 days.

And no real end to the border closure in sight either SG.
Unless you have a Japanese passport or visa nobody can travel to Japan - and even then you need to be in select countries to be able to enter.
Consulate here have no idea when/if this will change either.
Mind you I know people who have booked trips over later in the year (much later), but it is a risk.

I thought all the hysterical fear mongering was being moved to the general forum.

Cases and deaths are higher in 2022 compared to 2020-2021.

This all makes total sense.
