What happened to Coffield and Paton

Have you got dementia?

Paton broke his leg
Coffield did an ACL

ha..lol..you're right.
I completely forgot about Steele..Who is he anyway? lol
I think he is entirely mature, fully-rounded and I can't imagine what deficits are there to make impactful changes to. Decision making?? Sometimes iffy? He is a bit like Lenny in a way.

Windy and Gresh and Hunter = not real mids thus far..Gresh the most. What can be done with Gresh? He's obviously got some chops ..I worry about Gresh injury wise.
But who would you have in a small forward role? Higgins, Butler or Gresh? I guess Gresh will be put in the midfield if he is fit enough, but I liked him as a forward.
Bytel and Byrnes?? Yep!! Wow..Those two, more so than Paton and Coff, were potential stars and have fallen to fringe players. What next?? Good question!! Looking forward to that too!
As for Coff and Paton.
Paton had a busted leg, true and he tried hard after coming back and played in unfamiliar roles. I don't know, but he looked like another player in the crowd to me. Let's see what RL does there. Coff had a patchy '21 following his promising '20 and then injury in '22. Both of theses players will get pressed and tested by RL and they will get a role..I am sure they are more than good-average players..Just that we haven't seen it lately.

I don't think the team on paper will be that different to Ratts's . But the real meat and potatoes will be cooked differently...thank the lord. (I hope)

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Are there examples of him dogging a contest or not tackling??
Yep.

Agree. Our defense is good and will get better with Ross and we have good players in the forward line. Our list is good. Its needs a few areas addressed but there's quality to work with and a good coach like Ross with a good team around him might surprise a few people

Yes yes much better to stick with Ratts or even a Richo??
You probably loved wallowing in the Shyte we’ve been for 11 years now
Fancy bringing someone in who might actually demand standards??
**** me
Totally wrong. Happy to see Ratts gone.
My preference is to appoint someone who is part of modern football. The best youug assistant coach who is hungry and is forward thinking. Maybe an Yze or someone similar.
Yze who has been rejected by …4 clubs now?
While Lyons been in the radar of 4 including Geelong for a role next year ??
Think St Kilda needs experience after 11 years of garbage and maybe a slightly harder edge…
