i remember when he was hired

the gig was for him to explore all facets
of the 'coaching/support/roles/responsibilities'
of clubland

so as he could figure out his direction

small price to pay
to have a bloke of his calibre/potential
join 'our' (concerning) concern
i remember thoughting at the time

list management/recruiting was his already favoured pathway

If he’s still working at the club while doing behind the scenes work and politicking at Hawthorn, he has a conflict of interest.
