Gresham was useless today, his worst ever game I’d suggest. However, I’d be dropping Byrnes/Bytel/Cordy/Paton before him as he generally offers so much more than the above do with clearances & goals.

Byrnes & Paton kicking is a liability.

That is where we need the improvement/upgrades. Our bottom 6 players.

The issue is Billings/Jones aren’t any better coming back.
I don’t mind Byrnes as he busts his arse, but he needs to kick less and just be a tagger (Clint Jones mould)

It’s an interesting debate.
If was traded or left as a free agent, we’d wanna be getting overs, or it’s no cigar.

His kicking has always been an issue and stops him reaching higher levels, and just slapping it on the boot in general doesn’t cut it anymore if we wanna be any good moving forward.

Servicable vs GC and WB
Beaten vs ESS but bobbed up for a big goal when it mattered and set up another

Comprehensively shut out tonight in one of his worst games for an age.

I don’t know that he gets dropped for that and Collingwood clearly targeted him and our small forward set up and took the points in that regard.

Certainly needs to do better than that though
