Jade Gresham Hasn’t Signed On…

If you read any media or listen to Cal Twomey’s and Riley Beveridge’s podcast “Gettable”, Gresham was always touted to start contract negotiations and have a deal done during the bye. Bye has come and gone and we haven’t seen him sign his name to pen and paper. What do you think saints fans? Is he gone at the end of the year? Will he sign?

Personally I think he will re-sign. I use to work in Whittlesea where he grew up and have a lot to do with his cousins and extended family and they all say he loves Saint Kilda and they are all fans of the club. Can’t see why he would leave with all the saints hero’s coming back to drive the boys. However Cal Twomey on the latest “Gettable” episode touted he maybe going.

Showed promise early on, but seems to be a liability with ball in hand, more often than not

I’m in two head spaces. We got so many small half forwards and he’s easily replaced. However he has elite pace and adds that spark in the midfield. Last year he was really good in the midfield and I reckon we lost the back end of the year with him injured.

Gresham has a rare X-factor and is proven as capable of turning games our way, although not enough for many posters here.

I hope he stays because putting up with the anguish and moaning at the task of finding a new whipping boy would be too much.

I thought he played well. I think all but one CBA he attended he got the clearance. He’s a good reader of the tap. Probably from being a good forward crummer.
