His second efforts are huge

Tbh would have just about broke my resolve if they had of blown it tonight

And congratulations to cooper. Should get more game time from here.

Vort you with us man? We can’t hear you ????
I was watching him closely as I have an affinity for the boy…
He was great. Early in the quarter he brought the ball to ground to a team mates advantage coming out of defence (did it twice), competed hard in a two on one on the wing, competed well in the ruck, one decisive tap, one goal, set up the sealer to Hill with a slick handball, who butchered it… almost took another grab in the goal square. Got to a lot of contests.

That was a fantastic performance as sun. If he took the grabs he got his hands too… would have looked even better

Talking points for me:

Sharman, 20 minutes on field, 1 goal, 5 touches, huge contests.
Bytel 10 contested possessions, 3 clearances - pretty good for a 21 year old
NWM, showing his class, playing like Hill should be.
Steele, Ross - first 10 minutes after half time
Gresham - Reads the play so well but needs to finish.
Caminiti - Poor stats but big influence.

We can only hope. Some of the bleating on here has been at a toddler's level. Weirdos on here who get off on St Kilda losses.

Anyway, we've just gotta keep grinding. Got back to our game this week. That's our game. Keep working until the dam wall breaks.

Brad Crouch tried hard all night, especially when the Swans had the ascendency. I wish his disposal was better.

Totally agree. I was critical of his disposal but couldn’t fault his endeavour. If he improved his disposal he would be elite

If he misses a game for that, no player will ever tackle. Jumpers and shorts will be replaced with neat little dresses. The Grand Final will be played in front of a crowd of zero.

If all our players commited themselves like him and won as many possessions as he does WE would be elite.

A wonderful pick-up for the Club.

Yep important moment
It’s easy to step up when you’re on top of your game but he’s clearly not right and to his credit found another gear when it mattered
Actually Butler too - I’m not a huge Butler fan but hats off stepped up in important moments
And dare I say it…
I thought the coaching was good tonight - even if we hadn’t won
Made some smart moves
Gresham into midfield to give us sone spark
Pou back
Owens - seemed to use him as his mr fix it late (how good is that kid wow)
Sub - right time
Good effort all round - don’t underestimate how hard to win on the road ….especially when you haven’t done it there since 2009 ..smashed a hoodoo …since he last smashed it !

A real talking point, a bloke not playing getting 10 contested possessions!

Oh and if Owens played against Hawthorn, no way Sicily runs free and Hawks lose. He impacts that much.

Mate it’s not the commentators fault, it’s the cancerous CTE “victims” asking for free hand outs and ruining the nature of the game due to their bad life choices.
Careful...don't forget there's a building named after a CTE "victim" who took his own life...
Nup you make a choice to play afl, you can’t have it both ways

Can't wait for Cam Mooney to lodge a CTE claim against the AFL after being knocked cold in a boxing bout.

Missed the game (was at drag queen bingo with a few mates, also think I saw a few Saintsational regulars) and following along on here is quite funny, certainly a roller coaster!

Looks like I’ll have to catch the replay now 👍

Some reckon Gresh butchers the ball. Not really, his strength is playing chaos ball. When he wins the ball from the centre he just runs flat out and bangs the ball as far as he can into the forward line. While we might vent spleens if we don't directly benefit from ahis kicks we fail to notice the chaos and second-guessing that goes on within the opposition.

Pou really got himself and the team into the game when he moved to the back line. Such a beautiful kick, he made a big difference.
