No - not there today.
was it mentioned?
lucky guess.

Anyway here is a Thommo Q given he got to the 200 today.

Back in the late 90's Thommo and Harves used to rack up heaps of possies each week.

Thommo's all-time best is 36 (I don't think he spent much time on the bench that day). LOL

What round / year was this effort of Andrew Thompson's?

I think that this is in pretty poor taste....as are the supposedly "comical" replies.

saint mite: Don't be an ignorant fool.

This player's career virtually ended after this incident. Very poor taste and VERY STUPID!!

That's absolutely shocking, saint mite. I have never, ever bagged one of our own but you deserve it posting a picture like that.

Don't even know where to begin with that question, Saint Mite.

Incredibly poor taste, and that goes for any comedic responses as well.

Lift your game, son!

Have a go Ric.

Let's move on folks.

There are plenty of posters on this forum who might find the photo distasteful. However, there are also plenty of posters who were not born in the 70's (or even 80's) and would not have heard of John Greening and would not be aware of the story - I'm guessing the mite falls in that category.

Give saint-mite the benefit of the doubt thanks.

Im sure no offence was meant, she wasn't taking the piss out of the incident.

The picture is removed, now move on.

Maybe I should just go ahead and ask a question -

There is a famous story told by Alan Killigrew of a St Kilda player who died in France during WWII carrying a sod of the Junction Oval turf in his pocket. What was that players name?

It was Harold Comte (known as Harold WJ Comte and also William Henry James Comte) who took soil from Junction Oval to Europe.

Well done, Sainterone. I actually hear the story might be bogus, but it is a nice story nonetheless.

Here's an appropriate Q for this week (with a bit of a slant).
To showcase the performances of one Robert Harvey:
What is the best passage of play by Robert Harvey?

Better make it reasonably current or I may not remember (LOL) - neatest correct entry wins. Submit all entries by kickoff Friday night.

See how many we can get to highlight how good this guy was (and still is).
