Agree.
But there were some home town decisions.
What about the Hall assualt on Dal Santo's head paid as holding the ball ?

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Reminds me of the time at Waverley against Essendon when Aussie Jones got hip-and-shouldered in the back and the umpire pinged him for holding-the-ball.Enrico_Misso wrote:What about the Hall assualt on Dal Santo's head paid as holding the ball ?
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons; for you are a quick and tasty morsel.
There are always going to be some ridiculous hometown calls, even in Melbourne......Enrico_Misso wrote:Agree.

But that was an absolute shocker of a decision and there was no-one anywhere near me that thought otherwise.

The idiot behind me last night swore black and blue that we had a dozen more free kicks than the swans, because he had counted them!!Bono wrote:We won the free kicks - 27 to 26.
The free kick count doesn't mean a side did or didn't get the rub of the green. We didn't lose the game because of the umpires but I would suggest that the 3rd Quarter performance of the morons in yellow was appalling.
It seemed every time we got tackled it was an automatic holding the ball decision. I swear there was a tackle that turned into a fight for possesion, ending up in a swans player in possesion and held and a swans free kick for holding the ball.
Anyway, we aren't far off, we needed to be a little calmer down the stretch, which has been our problem a few times this year. It means we have 3 Grand Finals to play to qualify for September, bring on Fremantle!!!
