Fixture leaks ?? !!

All club presidents would have received copies of the "Final Draft" of the 2009 fixture when they met with the AFL on Monday or Tuesday this week.
Leaks normally start to filter out by now. Any word ? !!

Back to back road trips in first half of year

Port Adelaide (AAMI) and Hawthorn (Tassy): Round 4 and 5
Brisbane (Gabba and Gold Coast Stadium)
West Coast (Subiaco)
Sydney (Stadium Australia)

Only 3 Saturday Night games at the Dome

Play six of top 8 teams from 2008 twice.

6 Friday Night Games and 3 Sunday Twilight.

Surely this cannot be true!!!!!!

The BEST time to book flights is 27-31 Dec when they have all the New Year specials. Plenty of time !!

Tha would make either the Port or the Haw-Tassie game on Anzac Weekend.

So you're saying by not saying; We have 10 games that will be divided up between Sat Arvo & Sun Arvo

Only 1 Adel trip & 1 Perth trip is interesting. Normally, we alternate from yr to yr 2 & 1, then 1 & 2 !!

im 99.9% sure we played them in 2006??? they wore their clash jumper what looked like sh!t. would of been earlier on in the year because i remember it was an easter weekend?

I hope this isn't the fixture because I want to play Adelaide in Adelaide. Haven't played them there in home away since 2004 (will be five consecutive years next year)

No Freo in Perth is good though

Twilight Sunday games suck. One was too many. If we have 3 doubt I will be able to get to any of them as by the time you get out of the vitory room it is getting too late.

A lot can change between now and the official fixture release.

Hopefully its for the better and this is purely a proposal of what you could expect to see for Season 2009.
