Membership department needs to lift
I've been a reserve seat member for 5-6 years, and a member for much longer.
I have moved interstate now for personal reasons. I changed my address... no renewal. I emailed and changed it again... no renewal. Just rang to renew to get a recorded message to say that the membership dept will be open from "9am Monday 15th December". WTF!!!

I went to Moorabbin today and paid up for next year.......
There are no problems when you pay in person ....
I understand that this method is not an option for some....
You can now renew your AFL membership at the Post Office,i wonder why AFL club memberships cant be renewed in the same manner....

The post office gets a fee.
The AFL is flush with money and doesn't care two hoots for its "members".
Clubs are not flush with money and try to minimise membership cost whilst maximising club revenue.
Note : AFL membership is a fraudulent use of the word member - an AFL patsy doesn't get to vote or have any say on the rules that govern them.
Remember the medallion club queue jumped AFL silver patsys and now block other AFL patsys getting access to to the grand final.
The MCC has a waiting list of 185,000 but no-one gets to jump the queue no matter how rich they are.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

bit sad to give up my reserved seat. saw some great memorable games in that seat, with probably the best being when schwarta slotted the winner against the lions. i was right in line with it.
ah well, i'm now doomed to forever be an interstate member. oh, and my little girl who is of course a "little angel".
might see some of you at carrara!
go sainters
