Why would we be bringing in smalls to replace a ruckman. Especially seeing as the Western Australia media is talking of Cox getting up for the game??

Sorry Jabber but McEvoy will stay, Armo is injured but who knows about the other call. I will go with unchanged at the moment.

He did say 'might'. Smith might also debut this week. He probably won't, but he might.

I caught the end of the extended report on SEN this afternoon. They were saying that there will be NO CHANGES this week. I don't know if they have any inside knowledge or if they are purely speculating !!

If Armitage is injured then he wont play but geary has struggled the last couple of weeks and Dempster got best player for sandi

Someone else said A Smith i think Dempster has a better chance than Smith.
My impressions of RL on 3AW was he wasn't happy how Geelong control the clearences and hinted that Geary Ray and Mc Evoy struggled. If Cox plays he is under done and Gardiner fixed him up early this year.

I don't care that it is Jabbers opinion I just couldn't understand as to why you would state that a ruckman was going out and then that two smalls were coming in, it just didn't make any sense.

And anyone who has any common sense would have seen that this was just his opinion as it isn't GT coaching us. Ross has a high opinion of ruckmen. Especially with us more than likely coming up against the competitions best ruckman even if it is a return from injury.

Expect them to take Eddy with as he seems next in line, and maybe Dempster also as protection if a big were to get ill etc

interesting times. Maguire wont get a game unless Dawson gets injured. When Dempster is ready he is in for Geary i reckon. the way I see it is ...

DAWSON ------- MAGUIRE
CLARKE -------- MAX
GEARY --------- DEMPSTER
MCEVOY ------ KING

IMHO - Our top 22 is only 3 players away. Max in for Clarke and King in for McEvoy and Dempster in for geary. Imagine that team with more experience adding 2 premiership players instead of two 20 year olds who are still developing. Bloody awesome.

We have to all admit now that dawson has surpassed Maguire at this stage.

And just why each and every week posters come on here and want changes for changes sake??

I really hope King does not come back in the seniors first up as well, he would have 5 weeks out of football and it will be only asking for trouble with hamstrings towards the business end of the season.

Keep McEvoy on and just ease King into match time at Sandi IMO

It will only do both McEvoy and King good

Your point about King easing back into it, is a really good point. Won't hurt for McEvoy to play some more games either, especially with Gardiner dominating.

King will come straight back in I think. He would be training very hard and whilst that isnt the same as a match we need him to come back as soon as he is ready. As he is a ruckman he will only play about 40% game time anyway so he should be right.

Eddy would be the first one to come in for Geary, then maybe Dempster -if RL thought a change was required. Over in the west, the ground is suited to running types of players, so Ray may still hold his spot, though he hasn't set the world on fire lately. Maybe Ball could be rested.
